MIUI4 v2.2.17 [Beta 2] For Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830.
MIUI is one of the most popular android
ROM in the world based on Android 2.3 Operating System, that features
better user experiences and richer themes. But, with the release of
Android 4.0.3 sources few months ago, there came the MIUI4 based on Ice Cream Sandwich.
This latest version of MIUI custom rom is currently in beta. However,
recently the MIUI sources were made available to public and thus there
came the possibility of getting MIUI roms on devices that were not
supported officially by MIUI community. And, to our big surprises
TeamCooper --a team of dedicated developers for Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 smartphone-- with the help of an unknown shady character known by 0xD34D has already come out with a beta version of MIUI4 custom rom for galaxy ace gt-s5830 smartphone.
Since the MIUI4
itself is based on latest Android 4.0.3 and has much changes to undergo
yet, this custom rom doesn't have much changes than the Gingerbread based one had. Here is what the jusada, a member of TeamCooper, informed us :

MIUI v4 Beta 2 For GT-S5830 |
To clear up some confusion about this rom, it is miui v4 not GB. At this moment in time v4 is not the huge jump gb miui was. Expect some issues too like SMS names not showing unless number is saved in international format. Miui v4 is a beta and many issues will be due to that and not the rom. I will try to keep you all posted on issues and if its something we can fix or miui need to.For now we can hope MIUI team can work on improving their MIUI4 rom so that developers can port the new features to their own custom builds.
